Jesse Simon

 

 

Jesse Simon is a 5.0 level pickleball player residing in Leland, NC. He is sponsored by Paddletek and Real Time Pain Relief for tournament play. Simon is an IPTPA certified pickleball coach. He played collegiate tennis at Fairmont State University from 2001-2004. Simon tried pickleball for the first time in 2012 and was immediately hooked. Simon has earned twelve gold medals, nine silver medals, and nine bronze medals all at the 4.5/5.0 level.

New Training Availability w/Jesse

General Clinic Information:

▪4 weeks of 90 minute sessions starting September 8 – Oct. 6, 2018

▪The cost is $110 per person (includes court costs).

▪Each clinic will be capped at 8 participants.

▪There are two rotating 4-week programs for each level.

▪Classes will be held at the HOP

3.5 Intermediate Clinic - Saturdays 10-11:30 AM - Sept. 8th, 15th, 29th, and Oct. 6th

Program A Topics: 
Week 1: The Art of the Dink (including footwork) 
Week 2: Proactive Dinking & Team Movement
Week 3: 3rd Shot Drop (mechanics and team movement) 
Week 4: 3rd Shot Drive (maximizing effectiveness)

Program B Topics: 
Week 1: Blocking & Change of Pace
Week 2: Overhead & Overhead Return
Week 3: Lob Strategies & Defending the Lob
Week 4: Stacking & Exploiting the Stack

4.0/4.5 Advanced Clinic – Saturdays 8-9:30 AM - Sept. 8th, 15th, 29th, and Oct. 6th

Week 3: Disguising Shots at NVZ
Week 4: Backhand Roll

Program B Topics: 
Week 1: Spin Returns and Offensive Serves
Week 2: The Art of the Misdirection

Week 4: Situational 3rd Shots
